What is Nose Contouring?
Patients are fully awake during the procedure, so they will experience no negative effects of general anesthesia or sedation. Patients are also given a mirror to watch every stage of their procedure and offer feedback throughout the process to ensure they are satisfied with their results. Once the procedure is complete, patients can return to work or their normal routine the same day. Results of a non-surgical rhinoplasty last about two years. At that time, a touch-up would be required to maintain results.
How Does Nose Contouring Work?
Rhinoplasties can be accomplished without surgery through the use of injectables like BOTOX®, Radiesse® or Restylane® to contour and shape the nose. The filler is injected into the selected areas of the nose to help camouflage bumps and to shape the tip and give volume where needed. The procedure is relatively painless and is accomplished from start to finish in just a few minutes. While some patients are concerned that adding filler will make their noses look larger, this is not true. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is about enhancing the contours of the nose. When this is done, the resulting appearance of the nose is simply more aesthetic and smooth, not larger.

Why get Nose Contouring?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty has no effect on nasal breathing because it involves only injections that do not affect the breathing passages. Other good candidates for a non-surgical rhinoplasty are those who have already undergone surgical rhinoplasty but are not completely satisfied with their results. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can produce the original result intended without requiring an additional invasive nose surgery.
